Fund raising for the Fraser Coast Patient Transfer Facility

The only way that we're going to get this facility built is by raising the funds ourselves and that means that we have to get out there and work hard.

And that's exactly what our committee is doing right now.

Our current fund raising activities include:

2nd November: The date for the drawing of the monster raffle has been moved to November 28 at Bunnings Warehouse.

8th October:

Today eight other organisations local organisations agreed to join with the Patient Transfer Committee and help raise funds for the proposed building. Those groups include:

• The Hervey Bay Branch of the Vietnam Veterans Association
• The Older Men’s Association
• Fraser Coast Lions
• Hervey Bay Lions
• Hervey Bay Bird Breeders Club
• Hervey Bay Model Aero Club
• The Silver Bell Singers
• The Bunnings staff

The groups will be donating money raised from their regular sausage sizzle held outside Bunnings on a Friday.

• A monster raffle that features 36 different prizes donated by our wonderful sponsors. Tickets are currently available from our committee members. The raffle will be drawn on November 26.


• A theatre party for dinner and a show in Bundaberg. That's being organised by our Chairman but for more details contact the Secretary.

The people of the Fraser Coast - that's YOU - need this facility at the Hervey Bay airport and it's not going to happen unless you help.
